Privacy notice
Notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018. Last updated 17 October 2026.
1. Data controller
Tappezzeria Arredamento Baiardi Daniela (Daniela Baiardi), Via Agostino Novella 14, 61022 Talacchio di Vallefoglia (PU), Italy, VAT ID IT02220870410. Email baiardi.daniela@alice.it, phone +39 0721 479158. The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as this is not required under Article 37 GDPR.
2. Data we process
Browsing data. The servers hosting this site automatically record technical data (IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type) in system logs. The site uses no analytics, profiling or advertising tools.
Data you provide. When you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram we process the data you send us (name, company, contact details, content of the request).
Contact form. If you use the form on the Contact page we process the data you enter (name, company, type of business, city, email, phone if given, type of request and message) solely to reply to you. The form is handled by a script on the server hosting the site, which forwards the message to our mailbox: it uses no cookies, involves no third-party services and keeps no copy of the data on the site. To prevent abuse the server keeps a hashed record of the sending IP address for one hour. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to reply.
Catalogue and price list requests. If you request catalogues or price lists from the Catalogues page, we record the form data, the materials requested, the date of the request, the outcome of our review and the number of downloads made with the personal link we send you by email. We use this data to assess the request, send you materials reserved for the trade and keep a record of who has received them (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR, and legitimate interest in protecting reserved materials and price lists, Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Requests are kept on the server hosting the site for 24 months and then deleted automatically; the download link expires after 7 days. The record does not contain your IP address.
Map. Only if you choose to display it, the Google Maps map sends your IP address and other technical data to Google (see the cookie policy).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering requests for information, catalogues, price lists and quotes, and managing business relationships: pre-contractual measures and contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Keeping the site secure and working and protecting our rights: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Loading the Google map: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not send newsletters or promotional messages and we do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.
4. Retention
Technical logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider, normally no longer than 12 months. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, if a business relationship follows, for 10 years after it ends, as required by Italian civil and tax law.
5. Recipients
Data may be processed by the hosting provider and email service providers acting as processors (Art. 28 GDPR), and by tax and accounting advisers. If you contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta Platforms also processes the data as an independent controller under its own terms. Data is never published or sold.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Google (map, only with consent) and Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, only if you use them) may transfer data to the United States. Both companies participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR).
7. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to baiardi.daniela@alice.it. We reply within one month. You can withdraw consent to the map from the cookie policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your EU country of residence.
8. Providing data
Providing data to contact us is optional, but without it we cannot reply. The site is aimed at professionals and businesses and is not intended for children under 14.
